I first had this program on a Palm Pilot. Now use it on my iMac, iPhone, and iPad. It keeps my personal study notes synced. Is great for word studies. No program I have tried over the years comes close. I recommend it to all Bible students I know.

Favorite app for bible reading, taking notes, and quick searches. Many powerful resources available in the store as well.
I have this app on all my computer, iPad and phone. I use it everywhere because I dont need to be connected to the Internet to use it. There are great research tools and devotionals available.
I have 6 different versions of the Bible (KJV, NIV, Amp, etc.) and several other Bible resources, and I, read them all. The convenience of having them all my Bibles available to read, at anytime on my iPhone, is invaluable and has strengthened my relationship with God, immeasurably.
Awesome!
4/16/16 I use it everyday for reading and studying , as a technologist, its still the best bible study mobile app. Request: add bookmark per book view. With over 150 resources it takes forever to find my bookmarks on books I am reading. 11/22/2015 The latest update , both in performance and UI makes bible + the best bible study platform on a mobile or tablet device. The content update in the last 2years is second to none. Previous comment Excellent app until the last 3-4 upgrades. Reading plan does not work well any more, text , highlights and pages jump all over the place by themselves. Go to verse jumps to wrong pages, page scrolling now lags 10-20 secs.with the latest update formatting codes started showing up instead of strong numbers. I have invested a lot of money in in-app resources and I now all I get is a daily frustrating bible study experience. I know the the developers or authors are trying to add additional functionalities, I would advice make it simple, test extensively. You have totally broken the app. Its too late for the likes of me to jump ship so please fix the bugs, I am willing to be used for testing
If you want a free dinky little Bible reader, get something else. If you want the most powerful iPhone Bible software platform out there, get Olive Trees BibleReader. Get the free reader and then add the Bibles & Books you want from their web-site. They are always improving and updating, and now even Greek & Hebrew (PTL) and Im sure parsing morphology in the near future. Ive used OliveTree for years on phones and PocketPCs, but this is now the best on iPhone, hands down. Get the ESV Study Bible - it rocks! johnmarkharris.net
Just gets better and better! Very stable and extremely well integrated with other Olive Tree resources. Provides everything that I need for Bible study and preaching.
Fits my needs
What a wonderful app. I use it on my iPad and it is great for both personal study as well as preparation for teaching in my small groups. I love the features that make it so easy to use for detailed study by grouping notes, highlights and applicable scriptures by categorizing all into topics. OliveTrees resource guide is an absolutely wonderful tool....great purchase.
I have been using Bible Tree for over five years and love the ease of looking up word meanings and comparing different translations. I also find it very helpful that notes Ive made transfer to any translation Im using. I am currently doing a one year Bible reading plan and find it easy to track my progress. The app is easy to navigate and importantly, rarely crashes. Excellent way to study on the go!
This is a wealth of resources for reading & studying the Bible. I use it daily. Its user friendly, regularly updated & being improved, with good support. Its a great spiritual resource.
Ive used Olive Tree daily for years. The latest update is still has some rough edges, but the product is very usable and still quite good.
Love it!
Great app. Makes reading and studying the Bible easier.
This app has led me to a deeper study of Gods Word. I have found many free and reasonably priced resources that aid my study, which has given me a better understanding of Gods message to guide my Christian walk.
This is not only a great Bible app for reading and studying the Bible, you also have access to reading plans and a library of resources to include study Bibles and biblical literature.
I use Olive Tree on my iPad for daily reading and taking notes during Bible study and church. It flawlessly and instantly connects to all my commentaries and resource material. The daily reading plans are also very useful. I sync my notes, highlights, etc., to my iPhone for use when I dont have my iPad with me so my Bible goes with me everywhere. It has replaced my paper Bible because the ability to record notes and thoughts is so much more than what can be done in the margin of a paper Bible. Its technology for all ages; Im 67 and have easily embraced the simple navigation Just as I have my grandmothers paper Bible, I plan to give my login information to my kids so they can know my thoughts.
Apr. 2016 The latest update is OK, but I miss the ability to get rid of the menu bars and have a true full screen. The "grabber" for the bottom of the split is unnecessarily obtrusive. The display options are quite complex. It would be nice to have an overall theme choice. One must go through screen after screen to just change the format for text and the various resources. The flexibility is nice, but its a little bit too much. My major complaint remains the search function. First, there should be an x for deleting the last search. Second, the range options and filters should all be in the first search screen. Theres plenty of room for two columns of buttons for preset ranges and filters. That would make searching simpler, clearer, and faster. I cannot for the life of me understand why I have to go to a separate screen to choose my filters and then do the search. One tweak I would like to see is to match the menus in the split screen with those in the main screen. Presently, one button is titled "open". Like we didnt know something would open if we pressed it? It would also be nice to have some attractive templates for colors or a better way to see the effect of changes. The program is almost too flexible in the changes it allows, and it takes quite a few steps to see what the changes will look like. Finally, selecting text should include the ability to scroll off the screen and select larger chunks of text. Having said all that, this is still my favorite Bible app. Ive used all the others, and I have a lot of money invested in Logos, but Bible Reader is the one I use all the time. It is powerful, flexible, and user friendly. AND, it continues to improve. (I keep having to revise this review because they keep addressing the issues!)
With the tools and resources this app has its the best Bible app around. I highly encourage anybody who wants to use a Bible app to get this one. From the casual reader to the most serious Bible student.
