This is definitely my daily go to Bible app. It is very easy to use and a major benefit is all the resources that compliment your Bible study. I have downloaded several concordances. It is so helpful to be able to access everything you need within the app. This is a must for any serious student. Highly recommended.

I had a problem with the latest app update where my purchases were missing. Got great support from the developer. All working now. 5 stars for this one.

Wow! I dont know what just happened, but this app just went from working really well to hardly working at all! Im using an iPhone 4S running 6.1.3. My Reading Plan wasnt syncing properly this morning so I tried rebooting and finally reinstalling the app. I think I got the newest version which I dont think I was running before. It seems to have synced with my account, but I cant navigate properly. If I go to my reading plan and select a reading I get sent somewhere close to the reading, but not to the beginning of the chapter. When I finish the reading there is no button to select showing that Ive finished the reading and to take me on to the next reading. If I select the "Continue Reading" button there is no response. If I use the "Go To" button, again I will be taken close to the scripture that Im looking for, but only within a few verses or sometimes a few chapters. The scripture reference is no longer shown at the top of the screen. There is no indication of where I am in the bible. The app window doesnt fit my phone screen. It runs off the top and cuts off the top part of the top line of text. Im not sure what just happened, but it appears that its the newest update that is causing this.

I love this APP and use it almost every day. Would like to see the search capability to include "exact phrase" search. With this we could put in a phrase like "for God so" and the app would only show the verses where this exact phrase is located (ie John 3:16)

Great app with many features. Many Bible versions. Some with Strongs; tap on a word to display the Greek or Hebrew original word and its definitions. It syncs highlights, notes, bookmarks, etc. across devices. You can split the screen to see two translation side by side. It has configurable reading plans. One problem with the new version is that it takes much longer to load than the previous versions.

I have been using Olive tree since I had a palm pilot (even before iPhones). I have experienced their growth in time with the advent of newer technologies and have been always impressed with their product. I highly recommend this Bible study app to anyone, whether you are a serious Bible student or just to have a mobile Bible reader.

I have been using olive tree products since the days of the Palm Pilot. All I can say is there are many other apps out there that have great content. There is only one Olive Tree. For comprehensive study materials look no further. You will not find a better product.

Effective and adaptable tool for studying and reflecting on Scripture. Customizable in a myriad of ways; you can combine Bible versions, commentaries, maps as well as highlight text and catalogue notes. Cross referencing is easy and quick. All in all, this has been a super helpful tool in helping me pursue my apprenticeship with Jesus, which is what its all about in the end.

I like the App because of the free Bibles available and its off line use. I also like when you first open the App it brings you straight to what you where last reading and not some home page thats slowing down my researchs! The split screen is practical as well. But thing that could be awesome is audio Bible play listening option line like YouVersion has it in front screen when scrolling up/down! I like very much the black theme cause I use it a lot in low light situations but Id like to be able to adjust brightness and all and also flip to day theme right off the reading screen! This helps to saving battery life on the go! Thanks

I love how organically integrated the modules in this Bible app are. Whether it is accessing commentaries, notes, cross-references, etc or moving between translations this is my go to Bible. The commentary selection and background resources for advanced study (Little Kittle, EDNT, etc) are great and I look forward to seeing more and more of this.

I love everything about this app, like the ability to cross reference different Bibles, syncing between my iPhone and iPad, and all the different reading plan options. Definitely the best one out there.

There is no question this is a good Bible app with many features, but the thing that frustrates me most is the clumsiness of changing versions. For example, it would be a lot smoother and less complicated to be able to click on version at the top display. But know, we have to go into the main menus, find Bibles, then select the version. Then if I want to go back to the previous version, I have to go through the entire process again. Give us a one click version button on top of the display please.

I have used several bible reading apps over different systems, iPhone, windows mobile, and pc. I have to say that olive tree far surpasses every other one by far, with ease of use, clear styling and amazing function. This new update just pushed this app over the top by adding in reading plans. It doesnt just tell you what to read, it breaks it down for you completely and saves your daily tasks. When you finish your daily reading, click done and it logs everything for you. My one suggestion for an improvement would be the ability for a rolling bookmark. Lets say you are in the middle of reading the book of Matthew, you go to church and want to follow along with the serm, so you bookmark your spot in Matthew. After the sermon you continue off from your bookmark, but unless you delete it, its always going to be there... I you had a rolling bookmark, you could continue off where you left without worry.

I spend time with this app each morning before heading to work. It is a very nice way to start the day and convenient, as well.
