Pros and cons of Bible Maps by Olive Tree app for iPhone and iPad
Bible Maps by Olive Tree app good for
An excellent Bible resource, in a click you can consult different commentaries or switch to different Bibles or books. You can underline verses or passages with various colors, take notes and go to verses that support and/or confirm all the verses found in either the OT and in the NT, plus many other useful tools. Great stuff!
The best application for read the bible. But you could improve the fluidity. This application is very heavy.
Well-thought app, minor synchronisation quirks when using bilateral synchronisation between two Bibles (NBV dutch and Segond 21 french, in my case). I understand that this is not trivial to program correctly, but thats what I expect for the money.
One of the best Bible on Mac
Be blessed in Yeshouas name
Too bad that the is not more content in other languages. Very good app for Bible study.
A nice application fit reading bible, all i need !!!
Some bad moments
Bible+ is an excellent app, but the last version is terrible. It didnt bring any change, beauty or new tool. If brings, we cant realize. Sorry, one thing we realize: it is worse. It is very, very, very slow. It first shows the numbers (chapters and verses), some seconds later, the text, and then, it blinks 2 or 3 times. And it is full of bugs! Why did they release it? Why change something that was already good? I dont understand. Please OliveTree, bring back the old version!
I always enjoyed Bible Reader as great and use friendly. However, since the update the app cant be used anymore because the text appears like this
Great App but please work on the German translation. I wrote a few mails about the translation. Nothing changes!
Bad translation support for my personal opinion.
Wow! I dont know what just happened, but this app just went from working really well to hardly working at all! Im using an iPhone 4S running 6.1.3. My Reading Plan wasnt syncing properly this morning so I tried rebooting and finally reinstalling the app. I think I got the newest version which I dont think I was running before. It seems to have synced with my account, but I cant navigate properly.
If I go to my reading plan and select a reading I get sent somewhere close to the reading, but not to the beginning of the chapter. When I finish the reading there is no button to select showing that Ive finished the reading and to take me on to the next reading. If I select the "Continue Reading" button there is no response.
If I use the "Go To" button, again I will be taken close to the scripture that Im looking for, but only within a few verses or sometimes a few chapters.
The scripture reference is no longer shown at the top of the screen. There is no indication of where I am in the bible.
The app window doesnt fit my phone screen. It runs off the top and cuts off the top part of the top line of text.
Im not sure what just happened, but it appears that its the newest update that is causing this.
The extras you have to buy to make this useful are outrageously expensive.
The phantom Biblereader Resource Guide Database seems to have finally disappeared.
Although the app still continued to display 2 presently installed resources - namely the ESV Study Bible & the New American Standard Bible with Strongs Numbers - as being available to download, Ive learned that I can scroll to the bottom of the Purchased list, select the More option, then select Updates, and reveal that No Updates are available.
Talk about going twice around the house to get to the barn, but whatever!
Perhaps these ongoing technical issues will eventually be resolved in a future release...
