Functionally superior but slow

Everything youd need or expect (and stable) but slow to use. Ive been using the app for maybe a couple of years now and keep hoping for an update that will speed up the scrolling, selecting verses, pressing buttons, etc, but it doesnt seem to be considered a priority. Using the app to its full can become frustrating. The free "Bible" app just screams in comparison. I really like the app but Im very tempted to switch to something else. I use it on an iPhone 4.
